Trip to Germany - Pekan Zweibrucken

Zweibrucken is a small town where my husband lives for this moment. It is located around 2 hours drive from Frankfurt, 4 hours from Munich but only 15 minutes to France boundary. His office is around 10 km from our home.

On the first day, the weather is quite good, around 2 deg Celsius, but for Adam and myself who just reached here is damn freezing cold. Luckily, my husband had bought winter jacket for us and brought them to the airport. We went to grocery store called Edeka, and in here you can buy Halal chicken (brand - Wiesenholf), its price is quite cheap.. around 4 euro for 1.1kg. However, there are not many choices for vegetables and fish. I went to bed at 5 pm (11 pm Malaysia) and woke up at 2 am.. my first jet lag. hehe.. Adam woke up at 3 am and both of us were watching videos while Adam's daddy snoring.

That Sunday was my husband's birthday, so when i woke up at 4 am, i'd made him a bread pudding as his birthday cake. There was a light snow shower, the first snow in 2012 but last longer for 4 hours. 

We planned to go to The Style Outlets, similar with Johor Premium Outlets in Senai but it is much bigger and much cheaper. Usually this outlets are closed on Sundays, but on 29th January, they have Sonntag Verkauf (Sunday Sales) from 1-6 pm. When we reached the outlets, there was a heavy snow downpour and a strong cold wind. Adam was shivering and my husband had to stay with him in the car and let me did my shopping alone. ngee.. and my hasil tangkapan.. 

It is only Eur 36. in JPO they sell it for RM169 and in Jusco for RM 199.

OK, first thing i've learnt about Deutsche lifestyles.. Sunday is a family day, no shops are open, including big hypermarket. Or, they will open but only for few hours. So if you plan to buy your groceries, please plan it earlier. 

Monday morning, my third day in Deutschland.. tadaaa.. as I wish!

  

I let Adam played outside for 5 minutes.. nop, actually I asked him to play outside so I can capture few photos. It was freezing cold.. brrrr!!

But for the next few days, the temperature suddenly drops from 1-2 deg Celcius to -11 deg Celcius. A bright sunny day, strong cold wind.. however no snow coming down.

Trip to Germany - Jalan-jalan Mencari Cinta

It is my first trip ever to Europe. My friends called me insane but amazed how I have guts to plan and travel alone with my toddler.

Well, it's because of love. I miss my husband badly. It has been 2 and half months since he started his work in here. We never apart from each other for such a long time, every day I miss him even though we contacted each other via Skype.

One week before Christmas holiday, I surfed MAS website and found flight ticket are on Christmas Sales. I purchased tickets to Frankfurt for Adam and myself. I chose 27^th January midnight flight, so I’ll arrive on 28^th Jan morning.. which is on my 30^th birthday and the next day (29^th Jan) is my husband’s birthday, so we have chance to celebrate our birthdays together.

A special thanks to MAS stewardess who assists me during flight. Adam is too big for the bassinet, so she changed my seat from seat with bassinet to one extra seat for Adam at no extra charge. MAS is really a child-friendly airlines and I would strongly suggest to anyone who will travel with small kid.

 Sleepy Adam watched Upin Ipin @ KLIA Departure Hall, 11.26 pm.

The flight took around 12 hours, and Adam was being a good boy, slept for the first 9 hours.

  

After 8 hours journey, another 4 hours to go.

When Adam woke up, I let him watched Upin Ipin, and he still behave himself.

  

2 hours before reached Frankfurt, the Flight Attendant served us breakfast and I chose Nasi Lemak. Poor Adam, he didn’t have his dinner before take-off, and then he enjoyed the breakfast very much.

And after 1.5 hours, the real Adam is back..

“Ummi, look at me!”

At Frankfurt airport – safely arrived at 6.03 am local time, 1.03 pm Malaysia.

Thanks and praise to Allah for this smooth journey, He protects this 5 months pregnant mother and her little toddler all the way to meet their loves one.

22 weeks

Alhamdulillah diberi kesempatan merasai nikmat hamil buat kali ke-4. Setiap kehamilan ada ceritanya sendiri -suka duka, sedih, dugaan yang macam2.. Tapi bila ku fikir2kan, memang aku sendiri tak sangka betapa aku tabah mengharungi setiap satunya.

Segala ujian benar2 membuatkan aku kuat, tambah2 bila terpaksa menghadapi orang sekeliling, mulut2 yang tak ada insurans, dan tak memikirkan perasaan aku. Wanita mana yang tak mahukan anak? Selama empat tahun aku dan suami sabar menanti kehadiran cahayamata, yang hanya diizinkan Allah selepas hamil kali ke-3.

Syukur kedua2 belah keluarga kami sangat2 memahami keadaan kami. Dengan pengalaman kami yang berusaha untuk mendapat zuriat turut kami gunakan sebagai khidmat nasihat percuma kepada kawan2 yang bermasalah mendapat anak. Alhamdulillah, 2 orang kawanku telah pun selamat melahirkan anak tahun lepas, walaupun pada mulanya tarik muncung panjang dan terasa hati bila aku beroleh cahaya mata terlebih dahulu.

Minggu ini aku dah cecah 22 minggu, dah lebih separuh perjalanan dah pun. Kehamilan kali ini paling mudah, hanya mabuk2 biasa semasa trimester pertama. Cecah saja minggu ke-13, semuanya kembali seperti biasa. Boleh makan apa saja, tak macam masa mengandungkan Adam dulu, aku tak boleh makan ayam langsung.

Paling aku sedar, aku makan sangatlah banyak kali ni.. dan berat naik sangat mendadak. Mungkin sebab mama temankan aku di rumah sepanjang cuti sekolah hari tu, jadi makan minum memang terjaga yang amat. 

Tapi masih ada persamaan, sampai sekarang kawan2 ofis ramai yang tak tahu aku mengandung, sebab perutku tak jelas mana. Lagipun aku pakai jaket kilang, jadi macam cover sikit la. Yang pasti kelebaran pinggang dan bumper amatlah bertambah ukuran incinya. Aku tak kisah sangat mereka tak tahu, sebab tak suka komen2 saiz perutku.. buat bimbang je. Hanya Allah, aku dan doktor aku je yang tahu baby membesar sempurna ataupun tak. Tak kisahlah, lagi 2 minggu aku pasti perutku akan besar mendadak, bila cecah 6 bulan.

Baby pun sangat baik, tak banyak ragam, tak mintak makan itu ini. Agaknya tahu ayahnya jauh, ummi sorang2 jaga baby dan abang Adam. Ummi pun rindu ayah urutkan kaki yang lenguh, picitkan belakang pinggang yang sengal. 

Kawan2, doakan aku selamat ya? Ni gambar baby masa scan minggu ke 19 hari tu.. Sorry tak jelas sangat sebab gambar video ni.
