Preparation to Germany - Part 2

Alhamdulillah, I've settled my visa application last week, and tentatively by 15th Aug our visa will be ready.

Today, I will list down all the documents required for the visa application. Please take note that this list is for family reunion (for my situation is husband works in Germany) and it may vary for student's family reunion.

Basic documents required for yourself (spouse) :

1) 2 copies of application form (downloaded from here)
2) 2 passport photographs with grey or white background (click here)
3) valid passport
4) 2 copies of valid passport
5) 2 copies of Marriage certificate*
6) 2 copies of husband's valid passport
7) 2 copies of Husband's document : proof of residence / certificate of registration (Anmeldebescheinigung)
8) 2 copies of Husband's document : Proof of employment / offer letter
9) 2 copies of academic Degree/Diploma, if you're not a degree/diploma holder then you have to provide proof of basic German language skills (minimum level A 1)

Basic documents required for children :

1) 2 copies of application form (downloaded from here)

2) 2 passport photographs with grey or white background (click here)

3) valid passport

4) 2 copies of valid passport

5) 2 copies of Marriage certificate*

6) 2 copies of father's valid passport

7) 2 copies of mother's valid passport

8) 2 copies of father's document : proof of residence / certificate of registration (Anmeldebescheinigung)

9) 2 copies of father's document : Proof of employment / offer letter

10) 2 copies of Birth certificate*
